Coach’s, established in 1983, is owned and operated by Chris Carle, Brian Darby, and Mike Darby. We were the first sports bar in the Kansas City area 25 years ago, and now with our second location at 149th and Metcalf in Overland Park, Kansas, we are also one of the newest sports bar in town.

Coach's High Definition TVsWhat is so great about Coach’s is that we may be the oldest sports bar in Kansas City, but we have the newest technology and televisions in town. We are able to find just about any sporting event you could ever want. We are totally committed to making sure you can watch your home team here no matter where you call home.

All of our televisions are High Definition, whether you are watching our 42” and 50” plasma screens or our 6 ft projection units. We subscribe to all of the sports packages and have cable as well. We also have C band and K band satellite capabilities to catch games no Coach-s Tableone else in town can get. Just ask any Kansas State fan about Coach’s. We’re the best Sports Bar in town.  

Both locations include delicious, homemade food which is prepared fresh daily and features mouth-watering daily specials like our famous Yankee Pot Roast, Meatloaf with homemade mashed potatoes and Chicken Fried Steak. Every day you can dine on our extensive menu that has something for everyone. We even have a kid’s menu for the little leaguers. Join us for lunch, dinner or a late night snack as we serve food from 11am till 2am every day.

Coach's Indoor GamesWe have cozy private dining rooms that can be reserved for your special parties. We can arrange a special occasion meal for 15- to 70 people. Our private rooms also have High Definition screens for presentations and homemade DVD videos. Both locations have pool tables and all of the latest video games in our lively game areas for your enjoyment.

 If you would like to relax and enjoy a glass of wine outside both spots have a lovely deck. Yes, both Coach’s have a nice selection of wine.
